Before I died, we were planning to storm the stronghold of one of the men in charge. Hopefully either a solution would present itself or at least we'll learn more.

[ well, his role actually was more military strategy than political strategy because louis just killed his enemies without giving a fuck, there was not much delicacy there. you either loved him or hated him, they were not focused on winning people over. ]
How much planning did you actually get into? Might be able to help you work out some strategies if you're familiar with the location and know who's gonna be in your army.
I wouldn't say we did much planning in advance so much as they let us in and we sort of wandered around killing whatever guards we could find so they'd have fewer reinforcements later. We could easily have fought General Thorne at that time, except he had a necromancer giving him immortality, so we went off and killed him first.
It's a very well defended fortress, but their ranks are thinned, and we have ourselves, Jaheira and her Harpers, who are... maybe a little like the Rangers. [from lord of the rings it's all happening. this is a huge compliment but actually jaheira deserves this she's badass as hell.] And Dame Aylin, who is a demigoddess and I imagine she is quite powerful.
