[ a little laugh. he's in a really good mood so it doesn't bother him. ]

It's good to hear their voices. [ amused. ] Have you managed to say hello to everybody you missed?

Yes. And to successfully avoid the ones I haven't.

[fried]

[ snorts. ]

Ah, now I'm curious. Other than Brimstone, of course.

Mainly him, mainly him, but the passion with which I dislike him is worth great numbers. And I don't much care for Hawke, but that is primarily for the utterly pedestrian crime of being a bad boyfriend, so I can look past it, I suppose.

[fried]

Fortunately for you, I'm happy to take up the mantle of disliking Hawke with a violent and burning passion in your stead.

[ this is mostly a joke. mostly. it's not even all for anders, either. ]

The mood seems lighter, today. I'm glad for it.

In addition to healing wounds, I might be able to help with poison damage...? It's a slightly different spell, but it might work?

But only if you would be comfortable with that.

[ his ears stand straight up, actually. ]

... I would be willing to give anything a try. [ he desperately wants his sight back, so... ] What do you need to do in order to do so?

I just have to touch you. And then hope I have enough power back that it will work.

[ well - then, with a careful and cautious burst of hope that he very quickly pushes back down: ]

... Whenever you'd like to try, then.

[okay well it is slightly anticlimactic but she will just reach her hand out to touch him on the eyes, close her eyes, and focus. and there's probably some silly latin phrase too. and as she does that, there's a glow of blueish green light and it will start to work.]

[fried]

[ he keeps his eyes closed, as she reaches to touch his face. there's a glow that he doesn't see - until suddenly, he can. he can see the glow from the dark of his closed eyes, and maybe in a silly sort of instinctive way, he reaches to hold onto shadowheart's arm loosely.

if he's a little scared, he's trying not to show it. but. it is working. it seems like it's working. ]

[well, she'll take her hands away, unsure herself if it worked.]

...Well?

[fried]

[ he opens his eyes!

and just... looks at her. really looks at her, for the first time in all the time he's been here, and - embarrassingly, his voice cracks, but: ]

... Oh, you're beautiful.

[ just - realizing it, now that he can clearly see her face. a little laugh, just slightly wet, and he covers his mouth as all the emotions hit him at once. ]

[ohhhh laughing a bit at that and blushing as well.]

What a thing to say. I know, but still.

[she's so happy that it worked, though. very pleased.]

[fried]

[ he laughs again, ear flicking. ]

Well, it's true. I can... I can see it, I can see you.

[ a beat, and he brings that hand up to wipe at his eyes like ??? at the fact that they're wet? oh. okay. ]

Ah.

[ohhhhh, going to hug him]

[fried]

[ oh, okay, he's okay with that.

he will hug her back, tightly. ]

[warm feelings.]

I'm very relieved it worked. I wasn't sure.

[fried]

I suppose there's no reward without risk.

[ he's glad she did try. he'll let her go after a moment, but he is still kind of weepy. embarrassing... ]

And you tried to tell me you were no accomplished healer.

I’m not.

[but she’s still extremely happy and pleased.]

Or at least, I never thought about it. My training as a healer was to serve Lady Shar, and her warriors. [not ever someone she actually cared for, not something where she was happy to see how much she helped.]

[fried]

[ he gives her a very warm smile. ]

Well. Now you can say that you have helped someone because you wanted to.

... Thank you. [ he can imagine she knows how much this means to him. it makes all of his worst insecurities just a little less nightmarish. ]

I can. And I'm very happy that it was you.

[she does know, but more than anything, it feels wonderful that she did something to help him, after everything.]
