Started off with some... water lizard, not the axolotl, but like a salamander or somethin' on a long walk. It finally stopped and turned to dust and blew away... and then some new lizard took its place, but it was hard to see 'cause there was just this blinding light flashin' around it.
Then some building rose up out of the ground, and the door opened, and there was more blinding light inside... and then just, like, this giant martini glass in the middle of the room glowin' gold, with both lizards reflected in it.
Then the glass broke and it got washed away with, like, a mermaid, I think? And it ended with the wave turnin' red, like— well, I think it was just a Bloody Mary, it smelled like alcohol and tomato juice.
[ figured that part was just my subconscious reacting to yesterday. ]
...Anyway, the glass, I figured that had to represent Gabriel. But I also see 'em every day, so didn't seem weird that they'd show up in my dreams.

Yeah, Saber's been sending me multiple dreams this week. I didn't get anything too helpful from the first one, but their second one gave me better context.

The old god hired Lailah, Kiraman, Gabriel, and Ariel—oh, if you didn't already know, the old god hired the new god and the other angels, retired, and went off somewhere. Ramiel thinks they might be on vacation.
Anyway, Mary replaced Ariel and infiltrated? According to Saber. They're looking for Ariel and are wondering if Gabriel can help, but Gabriel doesn't even know who Ariel is, so that might be a bust. [thinks of what else...] Mary's the one in the voice messages from last week that Wis'adel posted—she's the one who's the "favourite". She told me that specifically, she's her employer's favourite, and that said employer is the... hand with her.

Mm. In my dream, Yves told me that Gabriel was the only one here who knew both the old god and the new god, since the new god is the one who hired the angels. I spoke to Mary as well, and she didn't tell me her employer was a hand, but she did insinuate that her employer was someone whose motives and plans we could uncover if we just listened more to the morse code messages and songs they were sending.
I also spoke to god... they planned to keep the fact that they're new under wraps, as they were worried about us losing confidence in them.
I saw a memory of Gabriel's, so that much is certainly true - I saw the axolotl god hiring them to come work here. I had just assumed they were one and the same god, but apparently not.
Yes... Gabriel told me that as well, which is different information from what I had been told previously.
I've been trying to understand what Mary thought we'd glean from the messages we've been getting every week.

Fourth Week: Morse code messages that when put together read
This is a fun game but I don't think you guys get the rules. The night is long enough to influence more than one, and if they take an apple or not after, that's up to them.
Fifth Week: Conversation snippets, which we now know were with Mary.
1: "Last week's door is no good again. This is starting to feel more like tag than hide and seek."
"The new one is open. Do you understand that—"
2: "—tag and hide and seek are practically the same game? Maybe try harder to win instead of complaining about semantics."
"Thank you. You know you're my favorite? But I'm just saying, sitting around in hiding is a lot easier than having to run back and forth so much. But it'll be—"
3: "—fine. Winning or losing isn't exactly the point."
"Of course I'm your favorite. I've met the competition. And I suppose I have to accept your wish to make your own fun. You're lucky your pettiness is one of my favorite traits about you."]
It speaks of a great deal of resentfulness, but I'm not sure what else we're meant to understand.
Earlier, practically every time I walked through a door I got shot off somewhere. It's getting a little better... think that means this "hide and seek" game is slowing down?
The thing is, when I've spoken to Gabriel about it before... they don't really get along with god well. Apparently not either god. They wanted to be here because they believed in the redemption project, but don't speak directly to god and believe god would not have trusted them enough to make them an angel.

But Gabriel is... I really respect their point of view. I think their doubts and hesitations about god are very reasonable and warranted and I admire that they're trying to help despite feeling that way. And I didn't get any sense otherwise from my dream. Yves told me to be kind to them, and I have noticed them struggling greatly this week, they seem deeply affected by what happened to Lucas, and to Jacopo and Saber and Yves.
Something is very odd here with the relationship between Gabriel, both gods, and this Ariel, but I couldn't say what. But it strikes me as extremely strange that Gabriel wouldn't remember Ariel.

When I talked with 'em the other day, I heard their thoughts askin' themselves "why can't I stop this?". So... I don't think it's them directly behind it, in any case.
Yeah... it's kind of stupid though so don't laugh.
There was a weird voice saying... "It's time... for a bonding activity."
When I went looking for who was talking, there was this really pretty field of clouds. And a... floating pair of pigtails....
The floating pigtails were punching a... princess, and it knocked her clean out. The pigtails took the princess's wings, then took off flying with them. ...But they were already flying? So why.
But more importantly, I saw the princess—she like, sank into the cloud field? And disappeared into the darkness.
I don't know. I'm sure they're worried about her, but I'm sure, like me, they also wonder if someone going missing isn't tied to whatever other anomalies we're facing.
I'm not even sure it was that. She told me she didn't believe in the redemption project but didn't believe in what the entity is doing, either. She actually seemed to find it fairly embarrassing that they sent us all of those songs about their feelings.
