Last week, I was given a choice of items, and I admit I did not take a healing one. Once again, I am a let down as a healer. [just a small joke, not anything serious.] And I was punished by the thing I did choose being worse than useless.
A stupid book! It was called something that implied it would have forbidden secrets in it. But it actually only made you feel compelled to write down a stupid secret, and the compulsion was not even very strong.

And then all of the secrets were things like "I'm afraid of spiders" "I once held hands with a boy."
[she just thinks it's funny and also she obviously knows what he really means is that he's embarrassed to want to kiss a handsome young hunk.]
I would agree with you that in the grand scheme of the cosmos, kissing a boy isn't the most important thing. [she's obviously making fun of him by putting it like this.] Why, to the gods, our simple mortal kisses must be such a fleeting moment as to be unremarkable.
On the other hand, it doesn't really seem to hurt anything.
