For what it's worth, I think this is another thing that's different in his world. [she doesn't think he's out there killing sentient dragon babies.] But it can't have been pleasant to see.
...my daughter always knew I was actually her uncle by blood, but trying to explain the full truth to her when she was a teenager- while also trying to keep her from developing a deep-seated hatred of all humans- was challenging.
