[ unfortunately for me and everyone, zhongli is going to have to be talked into a beach outfit. he's at least taken his jacket off after having had his home fit washed, but everything else remains.

Beautiful and tranquil. I almost thought it too good to be true, but thus far... it's been lovely.

Mm. I mean, I think it is probably too good to be true. It can't exactly be real, can it?

No, certainly not. One just has to wonder what they'll be gaining from it, or if it's truly just an exchange of our best behavior for a chance to return.

More than likely. I don't think that they're able to tell us, whether through their choice or from their God's orders.

At least we might enjoy the scenery. Do they have beaches like this where you're from, Miss Shadowheart?

Not quite like this. Port city, bustling docks and all that.

Liyue as a nation has some beaches, but the harbor is much the same. The gulls are much less friendly in comparison, and it's livelier with the children following merchants and sailors around.

But this is enjoyable, and the company has been good.

Overall, yes.

Though I would like a little less property destruction and possibility of needless violence in the grand scheme.

If they keep repairing what others break, will that encourage or discourage them, do you think?

Perhaps both, at least at first. It would lose any satisfaction for most people when things are merely fixed every time, instead of remaining broken, so the appeal would be gone.

Yes, but then on the other hand, there are no consequences for it, either. It is a true quandary.

You're quite right.

And it falls to us to both clean up after things, and to enact the consequences. But then that leads to a slippery slope of how far someone might take punishments.

[she's wearing a wig. it has been a day. but on top of that, she's trying to slink away from the end of the holiday market as she's starting to look kind of... slimy and nasty.]

[ shart your DAY. at first zhongli is just sort of confused because what happened to her hair... and then she starts looking gross. his ears twitch up a little on the sides of his head. ]

It has been terrible! Why is heaven like this? Despicable from start to finish.

I hope that changes for you, truly. Unfortunate that we can't request things to be changed with the angels...

[she's not really turning into worms exactly so much as she's kind of growing slimy tentacles.]
