Eventually, I was able to find some things I liked. I'm quite pleased with it, really.

No. But not unheard of. For orphans, a decent enough outcome.

I'm sure God would approve of our choices. Especially Ellie's. She has such a good eye for finding lovely things.

Did you decorate your room to your liking, then?

I did. We have places to sit, and shelves for our belongings, and a vanity for Ellie, and an altar for me.

It would be nice if we could find some nice plants and books, though...

I also have been so dismayed at the lack of plants! Fake ones are not the same at all!

I agree. They have a strange smell to them, too...

Perhaps if we ask, the god of this place will grant us a garden.

I would so love a garden. Even if the ordinary plants had simply not been destroyed, I would be satisfied.
